Jocarol - The River Bar & Restaurant

Really good food and nice ambience overlooking the Sal river. Loved the Batter Fried Calamari. The Squids Masala Fry and Mussels were good too although the latter seemed expensive. It's a good place to go to for a sussegad Sunday lunch.

The Best Restaurant one could explore instead of visiting same ones who aren't worthy anymore. After a long search found this and must say they have a very quick service, polite and hospitable staff and mouth watering taste everything perfectly cooked so well. Must try their Crumb Fried Chicken, Squids Butter Garlic.

This riverside spot offers a truly spectacular view, making it a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty. We happened to visit on a rainy day, so the staff had to pull down the side covers to protect the seating area from the downpour. While this did slightly limit the view, on a clear day, this would definitely be the perfect chill spot to sit back, sip on your favorite drink, and simply watch the world go by — whether it's small boats gently drifting along the river or ducks playfully enjoying the water’s current. There’s a natural calmness to the setting that makes you want to linger a little longer. The food didn’t disappoint either. We tried the squid, which was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Another standout was the stuffed mushrooms; they were warm, comforting, and bursting with flavor, leaving us with that lovely happy buzz you get from well-cooked, satisfying food. Altogether, this place has a lot to offer — scenic beauty, a peaceful vibe, and delicious food. A must-visit if you’re in the area.

The view, the vibe, the ambience, the hospitality and the Food! This place is a must visit for all these reasons. Special shoutout to Shane who took amazing care of us during our visit. I would definitely drive from the north to the south just to have a meal here.

Service took a little time, but the sausage pulao ordered was great and in good quantity. Calming riverside views, but Book prior during weekends or peak hours.
